Absolutely. Payments are processed by Stripe, a payment platform that exceeds the most stringent industry standards for security. Have a read of Stripe’s security features. Riffer Music will hold the payment in Stripe to be distributed to the Artist after the performance is finished. To avoid issues with an Artist potentially not showing up for some unforeseen circumstance (weather, family events, etc.) we recommend that the Venue or Event Manager dispute the payment before the booking date ends. You may not receive a refund if the dispute is not created within 24 hours of the booking end date.
