Venue or Event Manager
Riffer Music is responsible for the interaction between the Event Manager and the Artist. The moment the booking is accepted by the Artist you will have 24 hours to reserve the funds for the final Artist payout including any and all fees associated with the booking. Once this is completed your reservation will be confirmed.
From this point on Riffer Music will hold the payment in Stripe to be distributed to the Artist after the performance is finished. To avoid issues with an Artist potentially getting paid for a no-show make sure to dispute the transaction no later than 24 hours after the booking end date and time. You should also leave a poor review for the Artist and the Artist may be removed from our community.
Booking cancellations are not tolerated unless there are extenuating circumstances. Remember that you can cancel a booking at anytime before the reserved payment is made. Once the reservation is confirmed and the event is paid for you will have to open a dispute to receive a partial refund. Please note the Riffer Music fees are non-refundable. We kindly ask that you stay in constant communication with the Artist to prevent any misunderstandings. In the event of an unforeseen circumstance a dispute must be created and if applicable the entirety of the Artist fee will be refunded to the Venue or Event Coordinator.
Riffer Music and the community takes no-shows by an Artist very seriously. When an Artist does not show up for their performance the Event Coordinator or Venue will get a full refund of the Artist’s fees and the Artist may face possible suspension from the Riffer Music platform. Event Coordinators should feel inclined to write a poor review for late cancellations or no-shows when Artists do not communicate their unavailability.
Riffer Music is responsible for the interaction between the Artist and the Event Coordinator. The moment your reservation is accepted the Event Coordinator or Venue will have 24 hours to reserve the funds for your performance. As soon as the funds are reserved your reservation will be confirmed and you can rest assured that you will be paid within 24 hours of your booking end date and time. From this point on Riffer Music will be in charge of the transfer of funds owed to you the Artist for your performance.
When you confirm a booking the Venue trusts you the Artist will be professional and deliver on your promise. There is only one way to gain a better ranking and obtain a 5 start rating on Riffer Music and that’s by showing up early and putting on your best performance! Any unexpected changes can be very disruptive to the customer experience and the reputation of you and to the Riffer Music community. Remember that Venues and Event Managers have the power to publish negative reviews about you so try to be as professional as possible. Over time as your ranking increases you will find that you can increase your hourly rate, earn more money and get booked more often!

After the funds have been reserved for your event a dispute will need to be created and reviewed by the Riffer Music team. Remember that in the case of a cancellation no compensation will be due. We kindly ask that you stay in constant communication with the Venue or Event Coordinator to prevent any misunderstandings in the case of a cancellation.
A no-show will compromise your reputation within the Riffer Music community as well as outside the community.
